Learning about Leave No Trace
The Friends of Black Rock and the Nevada Outdoor School are holding a Leave No Trace Trainer course in our backyard in the Black Rock Desert! These courses are a great way to leave about all 7 of the LNT principles in more depth!
- Hike, camp, explore, and learn about the area and Leave No Trace ethics.
- Leave as a LNT trainer with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to practice and share Leave No Trace with others.
- June 9-10th
- Course will begin at 9:00AM at the Friends of Black Rock / High Rock office (320 Main St., Gerlach)
- You will be camping on the playa, dinner will be provided Saturday evening.
- Bring all other necessary water and food.
- The course concludes Sunday at 1PM.
